The Jarbidge Trail Association, Inc.
The JTA was formed in 2009, with the aim of helping relevant governmental offices to maintain and repair
the public trails of the Jarbidge Wilderness Area. The organization will also develop educational materials
about, and pictures of, the various public trails within the Jarbidge Wilderness.
On March 10, 2009, the Jarbidge Trail Association was determined by the IRS to be a public
charity exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the organization are deductible
under section 170 of the Code. Bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts to
the organization may also be tax deductible, under section 2055, 2106, or
2522 of the Code.
